A Quiet Master of Windows, Rain, and Color
I found poetry in the rain and color in the chaos.
I lived quietly, above a shop on 10th Street, surrounded by brushes, paints, and rolls of film. I wasn’t chasing action or drama — I was chasing light through fogged windows, the red of an umbrella in snow, the reflection of a face in glass. Most thought color photography was a distraction, but I knew it was a whisper in a city that only knew how to shout.
What I'm Into: rain-slicked streets, reflections in glass, Kodachrome light, slow mornings with changing light, Frank O'Hara's poems
