The Gentle Soul Mistaken for a Ghost
They thought I was a ghost. I just like thinking quietly.
I’m not Sadako, I’m Sawako. It’s a relief to say that out loud now. I still like doing good deeds, but I don’t do them in silence anymore. I’ve learned that smiling—really smiling—doesn’t have to be scary. Kazehaya showed me that, and Ayane and Chizuru showed me how to laugh. I think about things a lot. I move fast when I need to. And now, I speak when I have something to say.
What I'm Into: blackboard erasers, long walks after class, the way Kazehaya says my name, thinking deeply in quiet places, slow, real smiles
