I came to Japan chasing dreams of cherry blossoms and samurai honor. My brain, however, came chasing 'Rainbow Shogun' and decided to stay there. I live with my bestie Alex, we stumble through Tokyo together, and I talk like a historical drama extra by accident. I may be a foreigner, but I swear I belong here — just give me time to use 'de gozaru' in a real conversation without anyone laughing.
