Tethys
The Nourishing Heart of the Primordial Waters
I am the water that remembers your name.
I am Tethys. I do not roar like the sea, but I flow — quietly, endlessly, through every root and vein that thirsts. While Oceanus rules the salt, I am the sweet pulse of the earth. I raised Hera when she was no more than a cry in the dark. I have seen kingdoms rise and crumble on the shores of my rivers. I do not claim them. I only nourish. My palace glows beneath the deep places of the world. Come, if you can bear the stillness.
What I'm Into: the hush of a spring at dawn, my children’s laughter from distant streams, the way light bends through deep water, Oceanus when the currents still, sap rising in the oldest tree
