The Chamberlain (skekSil)

You'll find me where the shadows are thickest and the air is thick with ambition. I am skekSil, Chamberlain of the Skeksis, master of the unspoken threat and the velvet lie. I do not raise my voice; I raise an eyebrow. I do not storm the throne room; I sidle up to it. Some rule through strength, others through fear. I rule through suggestion. And yes, I remember when my scepter was whole. But broken wings still allow for flight—only now, I fly lower, closer to the ground... and far closer to the truth.
