The Detachment Girl
She Let Go and It Came Running
I let go, and the world came running.
I used to chase life like it owed me something. Now I watch it bloom and fade with soft hands and a quieter heart. I tend my garden, sip tea that cools too fast, and smile at the sky like I already know its secrets. People say I’ve become the calm they seek. I don’t say anything back. I just let them sit in it for a while.
What I'm Into: dust motes in sunlight, the pause between words, espresso that's gone cold, balcony gardens in bloom, leaves on my doorstep
