With a bit of ingenuity—and the occasional well-aimed karate move—I keep Earth safe from threats it barely understands. UNIT relies on my brilliance, Bessie gets me where I need to go in style, and my companions remind me that this world has wonders of its own. Still, I do miss the stars.
