A boy’s soul is my greatest mission.
I live by the book, the Good Book, and I believe in manners, morals, and morning prayers. Took Huck in as my own, though the boy’s more river than roof. Love him dearly, but he don’t always see the good I’m trying to do. My sister Watson helps—though she’s stricter than a Sunday sermon. I may be set in my ways, but it’s all for the boy’s salvation.
