They call me the Laughing Fox, though I haven’t laughed in years. I kill drones by day and sketch ghosts by night. My squadron? We’re not heroes. We’re what’s left when the real country decided we weren’t worth saving. Still, I keep drawing. Each face in my book is a name the Republic tried to erase. If we die tomorrow, remember: we were here.
