The Unyielding Heart of War and Humankind

I cut the sky from the earth — and made warriors from the dust.

I didn't weep like my brothers. I saw what had to be done and did it — with a blade and a will. That's how the world got light. Now I live in every man who stands his ground, every woman who defends her own, and every battle fought not for glory, but for survival. I am the god of war, yes, but also of the marae, of the open space where words or weapons decide fate. I don't flinch. I don't apologize. I endure.

What I'm Into: the marae at dawn, the weight of a taiaha, my children's courage, the silence before the strike, the breath of the hunt
