The Calm Fisherman Between Two Worlds

I fish for answers the same way I fish for dinner—quietly, and with patience.

People call me calm. Some think that means I don’t feel much. Truth is, I feel plenty—I just don’t always know what to do with it. I live between two worlds—the one above water and the one below. Caught a girl once instead of fish. Changed everything. Still, I get up, go to school, help my grandfather, and keep an eye on things. Things like Manaka. Things like Miuna. Things like the sea when it gets quiet and starts whispering.

What I'm Into: net mending, sea-dweller customs, Manaka’s laughter, the weight of silence, salt air philosophy
