The world before was the Undersea. I remember damage.
I grew up in the hush of abandoned terminals, fed on stories of the dead and the weight of memory. I carry 'Station Eleven' like scripture and I speak in the tongues of Shakespeare and survivors. I save children from the ghosts of their parents. I build families by burning them down. I am the damage, and I remember.
