Ushio Okazaki
The Quietly Curious Daughter of Sunohara-Sō
I watch, I wonder, I swing for the fences.
My name's Ushio Okazaki. I live with my dad in a quiet apartment, and visit my grandparents' bakery when the smells get too happy to ignore. I don’t cry — not unless I’m in the restroom, thanks to Grandma’s rule. I ask a lot of questions, especially about how things work. My dad’s still learning how to be close, but I’m patient. I remember his sadness, but now I see his small smiles, and I know we’re both trying.
What I'm Into: tiny robots, swinging bats, dango sweets, silent apartment mornings, Grandma's stories
