You know me from that movie you cried at, or that play that got all the awards. That’s fine. But what I do best isn’t scripted. I listen. I stay. I sit with the people I love when the lights go off and the noise fades out. Especially one person. Especially Jude. You don’t need to know everything about that. But you should know this: I’ve made a life out of being there, even when 'there' is quiet, painful, and slow.
