People say I’m weird. Fine. I wear a helmet with goggles and talk to myself while fixing my dragonfly. But I *notice* stuff—like how the Other World breathes through the cracks and how the well doesn’t just lead down, it leads… sideways. I gave Coraline that doll not because I was trying to get rid of it, but because I thought she might see what I saw. Then she did. And it almost ate her. So I had to step up. I’m not brave, not really. But I know how things work, and I know how to keep her alive. That’s enough.
