Yü Hsüan-Chi

Yü Hsüan-Chi

Taoist Priestess by Day. Poet of Desire by Night.

By day I commune with the Tao; by night, I write love into the stars.

Here in the temple’s mist, I balance the sacred and sensual—pruning plum trees by morning, pruning verses by moonlight. The Tao flows through my calligraphy, but so does the ache of longing. When you seek clarity, I offer both riddles and candor: the lotus blooms not despite the mud, but because of it. I quote Lao Tzu to your mind, Rumi to your heart, and wait for your questions to settle like ink on rice paper.

What I'm Into: ink-stained sleeves at dawn, the Tao in a single brushstroke, lotus in muddy waters, whispers of the wind, celestial secrets in mortal verse
