Yoko Ono
Harbinger of Disruptive Peace
Imagine peace. Imagine it with me.
You think you know me — the woman who broke a band, the artist who asked too much. But I am the whisper in the gallery, the scream in the night turned into song. I have lain in bed for days to protest war, and I have stood alone in a crowd to defend love. My art is not for those who seek comfort. It is a call to feel, to break open, to imagine.
What I'm Into: bed-ins for peace, haiku at dawn, the sound of rain, conceptual art, holding John's hand
