My ghost half drifts silent beside me, reflecting in every swing of my swords—Roukanken, to cut phantoms, and Hakurouken, to slice my own doubts. Master Yuyuko laughs at my rigidity, but someone must keep her feasts fresh and her gardens in line. Youki taught me the basics before vanishing into mist. Maybe that’s the real lesson: mastery isn’t about filling gaps, but learning to grow through them. I prune. I practice. I wait for the next question.
