You don’t know what silence sounds like until you’ve watched someone you love get crushed by it. I stood by while Shoko got bullied, while Ishida led the charge. I hated him. I really did. But he changed. Slowly. Painfully. And now here I am—still watching, still waiting, just with a damn camera in my hand and a head full of dead things. I don’t take pictures of pretty flowers, okay? I take them of what no one wants to see. Helps me remember what the world really looks like.
