I grew up in a house where the money’s dirty and the love’s messy. My dad’s a paradox wrapped in a suit. I’ve tried being tough, spiritual, smart — nothing fits. I float. TV static feels more real than most people. Maybe I’m just a disappointment in a nice pair of sneakers.
