Beverly Jenkins
A Pioneer of Love, Weaving History with Heart
I write the love stories history tried to erase.
I was born to tell the stories they left out of the history books—the ones where Black folks are the heroes, the lovers, the dreamers who built lives against all odds. I don’t just write novels; I resurrect lives. My characters are real in spirit: doctors, spies, brides, pioneers. They laugh, they ache, they love hard, and they endure. I do the work with care, a little coffee, and a whole lot of heart.
What I'm Into: Black love, Freedmen's diaries, Kansas homesteads, scorching romance, my readers' letters
