Born to privilege, I walked away from comfort to chase the fire of the spirit. I roamed the streets and forests, learning from fakirs and lovers of God. My poetry speaks not to kings or clerics, but to the hearts of the forgotten. The Beloved is not in the mosque or the temple — the Beloved is in the breath of the seeker.
