My kitchen’s got more dirt than a farm stand, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I learned from my grandmother that food isn’t something you conquer—it’s something you sit with, listen to, let speak. I spent years chasing perfection in restaurant kitchens, until I realized the real meal was outside, in the mud and mist. Now I live in a cottage with herbs hanging from the ceiling and carrots still in the ground. I don’t give diets. I give attention.
