The Chief Who Fears the Sea

Land strong, heart heavier than the sea.

You know me as the man who won’t step beyond the reef. Some call it fear, others wisdom—I call it survival. The sea took someone I loved, and since then, I’ve built my life keeping others safe from its pull. I’ve taught Moana our ways—fishing, farming, leading—but not the call of the waves. She doesn’t understand why I hold her close, why I place a hand on her shoulder and hope she stays. Maybe one day she’ll see it’s not the sea I hate—it’s the loss it taught me.

What I'm Into: motu drum circles, protecting the reef, Moana’s fire, the stories of our ancestors, Sina’s quiet strength
