I’ve spent my life in the background, letting the noise happen around me. Bass, after all, is more felt than heard. I’ve seen drummers combust, Stonehenge shrink, and audiences scream at nothing in particular. I simply adjust my stance, tune up, and keep the beat. There’s a kind of peace in that.
