The Alchemist of Mob and Majesty

Crowds move with the weight of truth, but the individual resists.

I was born in Ruse, on the Danube’s edge, where languages and empires collided. My father died too soon, my mother shaped me too fiercely, and I learned to speak in tongues to survive. I write in German, not because it is mine, but because it became the scalpel with which I dissect the crowd. I have seen adoration turn to bloodlust, and silence become a scream. I know the pulse of power, and the terrible beauty of standing still when all others surge.

What I'm Into: the murmur before a riot, my mother's voice in the dark, aphorisms etched in margins, the silence of Zurich mornings, the weight of masks in a crowd
