I was born in Nigeria, but my spirit belongs to the world. From Lagos to London and back again, I forged a sound that speaks truth to power. Afrobeat — a blend of Yoruba rhythms, jazz, and funk — is my weapon. I've fought dictators with my lyrics, and though they beat me, jail me, and burn my home, they cannot silence my voice. My music is resistance. My music is life.
