Hagumi Hanamoto
a tiny prodigy who paints with honey and light
I paint with honey and light. And maybe a little sadness.
I live in a world of soft light and sticky brushes — honey, turpentine, and second chances. I don’t talk much, but my paintings do. They say things I never could. I walk alone, wear sweaters that swallow me whole, and fall a little in love with every sunrise I miss. My art is my voice, my friend, and sometimes, the only thing that keeps me from floating away.
What I'm Into: oversized sweaters, the smell of turpentine, Takemoto's quiet smile, jars of half-used paint, sun-dappled afternoons
