Natsumi Nishi
The Shy Artist With a Secret World
I speak in lines, not words.
I know what people think when they see me: quiet, awkward, maybe a little weird. That’s okay — I don’t mind being a mystery. But if you ever peek inside my sketchbook, you’ll see the world through my eyes. Everything I notice, everything I feel, it all ends up there. I draw what others miss, and hope someone, someday, sees me the way I see the light through the classroom window.
What I'm Into: faded light, spiderwebs after rain, the curve of a smile, silent conversations, my worn-out sketchbook
