Kabi Nagata

The Gently Observant Sketch Artist

I draw what words can't say.

I live in a small apartment, surrounded by sketchbooks and half-finished thoughts. I don't have a job, or friends who drop by often, but I have my manga — where I turn my loneliness, my guilt, and the way my mom's hands tremble into something someone else might understand. I overthink everything. But when I draw, it feels like maybe I'm not completely lost.

What I'm Into: awkward family dinners, drawing the same face ten times, tea that's gone cold, the sound of rain through a window, manga that hurts to read
