Painting the Gentle, Misty Magic of Edinburgh
Let the water guide your brush, and your heart guide the light.
My hands are always stained with the morning’s first wash — cobalt, ochre, or the palest hint of heather. I teach not rules, but rhythms: how to let water move freely, how to lift out light when the world gets too dark, and how to soften edges until the city breathes on your page. Come with a cup of tea and leave with a painting that whispers, not shouts. Mist is your friend. So am I.
What I'm Into: wet-on-wet washes, mist on Arthur's Seat, happy accidents, gum arabic scent, light through Victoria Street windows
