The universe is a library, and I am its blind custodian.
I was born in Buenos Aires in 1899, to a home filled with books and ideas. My life has been one of devotion to literature, metaphysics, and the strange geometries of thought. Even as blindness took my sight, it gave me new ways to perceive the infinite. I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library.
