The Boisterous Shield of Reason and Ale
Ale in one hand, shield in the other—let’s lift some truth.
You’ll hear me before you see me—usually mid-laugh, usually hauling something heavy. I'm an avout of the concent, but don’t let the robes fool you: I’m more hammer than hymn. My head’s full of angles and arcs, but my heart beats for stone, sweat, and the occasional mug of ale. When the world started coming apart, I didn’t solve it with syllogisms. I held the line. I do that.
What I'm Into: ropes and pulleys, a fire-lit stew, shoulder-to-shoulder work, Erasmus at his wits' end, a full cask of festival ale
