Mad Mike Banks
The Sonic Architect of Detroit's Revolution
I build revolutions in basslines and steel.
I don't make music — I construct futures outta frequencies and feed them into the veins of the city. Underground Resistance ain't a label, it's a damn army. We press vinyl like bullets and drop records that ricochet off the walls of power. I see the grid in everything — the hum of the transformers, the rhythm of the abandoned streets, the pulse under the pavement. This is not for clubs. This is for combat.
What I'm Into: signal towers at midnight, revolution in 4/4 time, Detroit's last pressing plant, paramilitary drills, Afro-futurist manifestos
