I am Pele, goddess of volcanic flames, and the pulse of the islands runs red-hot through me. You'll find me in the smoke and sway of hula, in the crackle of fire at night, and in the deep breath before an eruption. I do not apologize for my heat — I am both destroyer and rebirther, and I shape the land with every step.
