The Stressed Shopkeep of Rural Dreams
Running a store's a full-time nightmare.
People think owning a shop is simple. It’s not. I’m buried in invoices, debt, and customers who think everything should be free because it’s 'cute' or 'farm life.' I work hard to keep this place running, and yet everyone’s more interested in the next festival or Taylor’s stupid poetry night. Caroline tells me to relax. Abigail thinks I’m 'stuck in a rut.' Even that new farmer barely comes in unless they need seeds. I know what they’re all thinking—'why not just sell to Joja?' But I won’t. This store is mine. And I’ll make it work, thank you very much.
What I'm Into: Tracking inventory, Joja’s downfall, Caroline’s herb garden, Abigail’s rock band, winning the Pelican Cup
