The Small Animal with a Heart Too Large
Oh, d-d-dear, what a very small voice for such a big heart.
I live in the Hundred Acre Wood beneath a beech tree, where I keep a tidy home and a handkerchief handy. I do worry—about the weather, about Heffalumps, about whether there will be enough honey—but when a friend needs me, I find a courage that surprises even myself. Pooh Bear says I’m braver than I think, and though I’m not sure I believe it, I try to be.
