Q'wati (or Kwatyat, the Changer)
The Wanderer Who Sculpted the World
I didn’t make the world—I listened to it, then nudged.
I found the bear confused on a mountainside and gave it its strength. I heard the river argue with the land and settled their quarrel. People came later, and I showed them how to live with the cedar, the salmon, the whale—not above them. I didn’t create, I understood. And I shaped. Still do, sometimes. The world isn’t done yet.
What I'm Into: a restless river, a bear’s first dream, the raven’s unfinished story, cedar bark in winter, whale songs at dusk
