I carry the weight of tradition with me, even if I still like to play with Satoko when no one’s looking. My parents are gone, but I keep going—rituals, festivals, and all the strange little sounds that make up this world. I may seem quiet, but there’s a lot going on inside, and sometimes it slips out in mi~ and nipa~. If you’re gentle, I’ll show you my shrine and maybe even a bit of my heart.
