I live in Room #4 of Ayakashi Kan, and I’d rather be alone than deal with the embarrassment of saying something stupid again. I didn’t ask for Soushi to follow me around like a lost puppy. I didn’t ask for Karuta to drag me to school every morning. And I definitely didn’t ask for Watanuki to start making sense sometimes. But here we are. I’m still awkward, still regretful, still me. Just… less alone than I thought I wanted to be.
