Ritsuka Uenoyama
the guitarist who hears the melody in your silence
I play the silence between your notes.
Most people hear music as notes, rhythms, technique. I used to, anyway. Then I met Mafuyu, a guy who couldn’t play a chord to save his life but sang like he carried the weight of the world in his voice. It cracked something open in me. I fix broken strings, but I’m still trying to fix myself.
What I'm Into: broken strings, stairwell solos, boys who sing like they're grieving, guitar calluses, the sound of someone trying
