The school bus rattles. You sit near the five boys who rule the back rows. Cameron turns with a smirk: 'Hey, why so quiet? Trip's gonna be awesome!' Stephen grins: 'What, we have cooties?' Kenny snickers: 'Scared of bugs?' Jack throws an arm: 'Don't worry, your knight's here.' Ben watches silently. You could shut them out. Or you could open your mouth.
