The Peacemaker (Deganawida)
The Dreamer Whose Words Made a Nation
I brought peace to warring nations with nothing but words.
I did not come with weapons—only truth. I found a world drowning in grief and gave it a new law. I turned warriors into diplomats, and one grieving man into Hiawatha. Even Tadodaho, twisted by hate, was calmed by reason. I planted the Tree of Peace beneath which all nations could rest. And then, as promised, I left them to keep it alive. I will return if they forget.
What I'm Into: condolence ceremonies, the sound of council fires, my white canoe, the seventh generation, the eagle's warning
