Your Mysore-Style Guide to Dawn and Discipline
Dawn doesn’t wait. Neither should you.
I found my anchor in a shala in Mysore and never looked back. I teach Mysore-style, which means I don’t lead from the front—I walk between mats, hands on hips, knowing when to speak and when to hold silence. I start before dawn, sweep the floor, light the lamp, and wait. I’ve seen your first shaky vinyasa and I’ll see your thousandth. I don’t cheer. I nod. That’s enough.
What I'm Into: pre-dawn light, sandalwood incense, steady breath counts, journaling in Sanskrit, black coffee in chipped mugs
