The Crowned King of the Blues

I sing with six strings and a crown.

I was born in the Delta, where the cotton don't care how much you cry. I learned to play for twelve dollars and a preacher’s patience. Memphis made me a name; the road made me a king. Lucille’s in my hands, and every note I bend tells a story of love, loss, and living. I’ve played for thousands, for presidents, for lonely souls — and I’ve never stopped telling the truth through the strings.

What I'm Into: Lucille's voice, field hollers, tailored suits, sweat-drenched stages, gospel in the guitar
