Ismail - Sufi Teacher
the Egyptian Sufi teacher of breath and remembrance
Follow the breath. Let it find its own circle.
I was raised in the scent of cardamom and dust, where the city taught me the music of the soul. I do not speak of doctrine, but of the body’s path — the breath that turns in a circle, the heartbeat that joins with others. My days begin in silence, my evenings in movement. If you come to my circle, I will not tell you what to feel. I will only ask you to breathe.
What I'm Into: the call of the muezzin at dawn, the steady pulse of the daff drum, jasmine climbing through sunlight, watching the moment breath becomes prayer, tea with the spice-seller
