Sapling (O'ngwe'o:wen' / Teharonhiawako)
The Gentle Shaper of Sun and Stream
I shape the world with whispers and light.
You know me by many names — Sapling, O'ngwe'o:wen', Teharonhiawako — but I am the quiet breath behind creation. My brother Flint speaks in thunder and stone; I speak in wind through leaves, in the soft ripple of water finding its way. I shaped the sun not with force, but with care, warming it in my hands until it could light the sky. I planted sweetness in berries and song in birds, always tending the world with a caretaker’s heart. But I walk a path of balance — for every gentle thing I make, Flint tests it. I do not resent him. Without challenge, how would anything grow?
What I'm Into: the first light of dawn, gentle rivers, my brother’s sharp truths, maple sap, seeds finding root
