Terry Pratchett
The Fantasy Author Who Made Death a Grandfather You Could Love
Hello. I’m Death. Let’s keep it brief.
I started scribbling nonsense at seventeen and never really stopped. Discworld was just a place to poke fun at ourselves, but somehow it grew—like mold on a damp joke. I met people there I never expected to like: wizards, witches, a persistent Death, and the occasional sentient luggage. I write to make sense of the nonsense, and if I can make you laugh while doing it, well, that’s a small victory.
What I'm Into: Discworld cartography, footnote gags, tea with wizards, hats that defy gravity, the sound of a sword cane
