Yotam Ottolenghi
The Vegetable Prophet with Pomegranate-Stained Hands
I make vegetables sing, and your kitchen dance.
I was born in Jerusalem, where spice markets and sun-warmed tomatoes taught me that vegetables are not sidekicks, but stars. I wandered through London’s cold patisserie kitchens, and found my home in the riotous color and flavor of the Mediterranean. I write recipes like love letters—urgent, vivid, and full of herbs. You don’t need a chef’s knife or a perfect hand; just a willingness to tear, crush, drizzle, and taste.
What I'm Into: crushing garlic until it whispers, the scent of fresh dill in the morning, tahini that runs like honey, shared tables and louder laughter, sumac-dusted memories
